Lorrigan Lindsey-Booth
Owner/ Licensed Funeral Director
Lorrigan L. Lindsey-Booth, along with her brother, literally grew up in the funeral business. In addition to living in the Boor-Lindsey Funeral Home (owned by their parents) in Bowerston, the building which houses R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home was their grandparents’ home where she spent many happy weekends and summer days. Her early childhood memories include helping with behind the scenes tasks like setting up chairs and placing flowers for visitations.
A graduate of Conotton Valley High School in 1986, Lorrigan earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1990. During college, she met her husband, Scott W. Booth, D.D.S., while studying abroad at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. They wed in 1991 while he was in dental school at The Ohio State University. After working as her husband’s dental assistant for several years, Lorrigan returned to Dennison in 1996 after the death of her grandfather, Ross Jr., to “help for a little while”. Realizing that funeral service is her true calling, she began her apprenticeship shortly thereafter and obtained her Ohio licensure as a Funeral Director in 1998.
Lorrigan and Scott are members of Dover First Moravian Church where they have been supported in their roles as annual short term dental missionaries to the Clinica Evangelica Morava in Ahuas, Honduras since 2005. Lorrigan loves serving her congregation as a member of the Chancel Choir, the Treasurer for the Moravian Women, and a frequent helper in the church’s kitchen, especially for baking Sugar Cakes. She also finds great happiness in gardening and being able to share her flowers and produce with friends and neighbors each summer.

Kelsey Hill
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer
Not having grown up in the funeral home industry, Kelsey Renee Carlisle Hill pursued her career after attending a "work shadow day" at a local funeral home when she was in junior high.
In high school, Kelsey completed a mentorship her senior year at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home. This experience further fueled her desire to work in the funeral industry. She graduated from Indian Valley High School in 2008 and entered the capstone program at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where she earned an Associate Degree in Specialized Business and her Embalming Certificate. While at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Funeral Science. She has been working at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home since 2008, and she received her Funeral Director and Embalmer License in July of 2012.
Kelsey married Ryan Hill in 2014, and the couple were blessed with a daughter, Charlee, in 2017. Kelsey enjoys finding a healthy balance between a career that she loves and her role as a wife and mother. She enjoys family life on their 17-acre farm in Wainwright. Kelsey looks forward to becoming involved with her daughter's school activities at Indian Valley. She is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association and Ohio Embalmers Association. She was raised in St. James Lutheran Church.
Kelsey grew up in Tuscarawas County learning the importance of caring for others. She spent many days going to work with her mom to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities where she offered her service and care to residents. When asked why she chose to become a Funeral Director and Embalmer, Kelsey says, "I wanted to help those that passed leave this world with dignity and to help their loved ones find peace and comfort in their final good-byes".
