Ethan B. Hylton

Ethan Brad Hylton, 33, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, passed away at his home on Monday, March 24, 2025. Born November 22, 1991 in Idanha, Oregon, he was a son of the late Bobby Hylton, Sr. and Cheryl Marie (Eberly) Hylton.

A Tuscarawas County resident for most of his life, Ethan had worked for several area businesses including Hardcore Recycling in Gnadenhutten. He was happiest when he had the chance to spend time in nature, especially when he could take his children fishing.

Ethan will be deeply missed by his daughter, Alaylah Rayne Hylton; son, Ethan Brad Hylton, Jr.; brothers, Jason (Kelly) Hylton and Sonny (Sara) Hylton; sister, Nancy (fiancé, Bobby) Hylton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hylton, Jr. and an infant sister, Joyce.

Brother Gary Hall will officiate a 5:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, March 28, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where his family will receive callers from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., prior to the service. Those wishing to honor Ethan’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to their favorite charity.
