Zachery M. Norris

Zachery Mychel Norris, 29, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Born January 18, 1997 in Dover, Ohio, he was the son of Gary L. and Tiffinie M. (née Crossan) Norris of Bowerston, Ohio.

Zach grew up in Bowerston and was a 2016 graduate of Conotton Valley High School. He enjoyed playing golf and baseball, as well as fishing, and was a talented singer who loved making music. He also spent many hours reading his Bible and then lived out its teachings – always loving his neighbor and going out of his way to help anyone in need. He truly loved people and was one of the kindest young men one could ever hope to meet. Zach worked hard as a rig hand for the local pipeline industry and had also been employed in restaurant service.

He will be deeply missed by his family which includes his parents, Gary and Tiffinie; sister, Abigayl (Skylar) Millhorn; niece, Makyiah Millhorn; children, Ryker Young, Paityn Vint, Amelia Norris, and Nevaeh Norris; maternal grandparents, William and Lucinda Crossan; paternal grandparents, Timothy and Linda Norris; uncles, Ben (Jenn) Norris and Jeremiah (Heather) Norris; cousins, Chris Norris, Jay Norris, Heather Norris, and Hunter Schaefer; many, many friends; and his canine companions, Sargeant and Honey Dog. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Sabrenia Crossan-Haney, and his much beloved great-grandmother, Helen Norris.

Zach’s family plan to have a private celebration of his life. Those wishing to honor his life by a memorial donation are encouraged to do so to their favorite charity, in lieu of flowers.
