Wynolia L. Wilson

Wynolia Louise Wilson, 76, of Newcomerstown, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville, after a period of declining health. Born February 18, 1939 in Wilmington, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Butler Peck and Juanita (Price) Peck Myers.

On January 25, 1958, Wynolia married Donald Elwood Wilson with whom she enjoyed nearly 47 years of marriage. They are survived by 3 children, Teri (Paul) Alexander, Mark (Rose) Wilson, and Gary (significant other, Carolyn) Wilson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Sharon) Peck; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and brother, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Wendel Peck, and infant sister, Alta Peck.

Wynolia lived in Tuscarawas County throughout most of her life. She was a former member of the Uhrichsville Women of the Moose and had been a caseworker at the Tuscarawas County Department of Job and Family Services for 20 years.

In keeping with Wynolia’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
