Wilma Louise Whitehouse

Wilma Louise Whitehouse, 88, of Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown, O., formerly a longtime resident of Uhrichsville, O., went to rest with God on Friday, December 31, 2010 from Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Born March 29, 1922 in Maple Grove, O., she was a daughter of the late David and Alpha (Kuntz) Whitehouse.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Catherine Whitehouse on December 30, 2003. She is survived by a number of dear friends, including Pat Loader of Newcomerstown, Joyce Capobianco of Kingwood, Texas, Patti Pittenger of Indian Wells, California, Bessie Ivan of Flat Rock, Michigan and Lynne Case of Ontario, Canada.

Wilma was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville where she supervised the Church nursery for many years, and also attended services at the Newcomerstown Church of Christ (ICU). Wilma enjoyed her many activities at River Side Manor, including bingo and deal or no deal. She considered the staff as family and friends.

Services for Wilma, officiated by Pastor James Reed, will be held at Church of Christ (ICU) on, January 12, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in Newcomerstown.

Interment will be with her parents and sister in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Those wishing to honor Wilma’s memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Church of Christ’s building fund, 540 W. State Street, Newcomerstown, OH 43832 which Wilma actively supported.
