Willis C. Parker

Willis Clifford Parker, 89, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, doing what he loved with his loyal canine companion, Morgan, beside him. Born October 29, 1935 in Perry Twp., Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, he was the last surviving child of the late Audrey Ambrose and Della Mary (Beckett) Parker, having been preceded in death by his siblings.

After his graduation from Freeport High School in 1953, Willis began a long career as a welder, working for a number of area manufacturing companies including the former Warner & Swasey. He then worked for the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District’s maintenance department for many years until retiring to do what he loved best – working his farm.

Willis will be deeply missed by his surviving family which includes his son, Jeffrey L. Parker (Margaret Stocker); daughter, Wanda Irene Parker; grandchildren, Mara Parker and Jeramey Parker; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Dawsyn Parker Oszust; and his former wife, Mary Ann Parker.

A 1:00 p.m. graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Conotton Cemetery in Conotton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
