William L. "Bill" Thomas

William Lee “Bill” Thomas, 58, of Uhrichsville, O., formerly of Cambridge, O., died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, O., following a lengthy illness.

Born June 8, 1951 in Cambridge, he was a son of the late William Harris and Delores Ann (Shaffer) Thomas.

A resident of our area since 1990, Bill had previously lived in Cambridge for most of his life. Locally, he attended Grace United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville.

On August 11, 1984, Bill married the former Sylvia M. Fair who survives him. His other surviving family includes two sisters, Mrs. Carlisle (Susan) McKee of Massillon and Mrs. Norman (Robert) Nodine of Missouri; a brother, Robert Thomas of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Bill will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
