William Joseph Hall, 81, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 27, 2026, following a period of declining health. Born May 28, 1945 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of the late Glen R. and Myrtle W. (née Welday) Hall.
Bill was a Twin City resident for most of his life and a 1963 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. He enjoyed a long career as the owner of K-Hill Signal Co. – his family’s business. Bill enjoyed attending the Cathedral of Praise in Uhrichsville, spending winters in Englewood, Florida, and playing cards with his friends.
On July 5, 1977, Bill married Sally Ann (née McPeek) Hall with whom he spent nearly forty years of loving marriage until her passing on December 30, 2017. In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, William McCollum; grandson, K.J. Williams; and son-in-law, Pixie Grandison.
He will be missed by his surviving family which includes his stepchildren, Brenda (Scott) Burdette, Todd Renicker, and Kelly Grandison; brother, Chuck (Donna) Shearn; sister-in-law, Becky McCollum; his loving companion, Barbara Wengerd; and a large extended family of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful canine companion, Lucy.
In keeping with his wishes, Bill will be cremated without a public visitation and his family will celebrate his life privately. He will be interred beside his late wife in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery on a future date. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring his memory may be made to the Cathedral of Praise and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
