William Gregory "Hoss" Carriger

William Gregory “Hoss” Carriger, 53, of Dennison, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Union Hospital in Dover. Born May 25, 1966 in Mount Gilead, Ohio, he was a son of the late Ralph Olen and Ida Lou (Rose) Carriger.

Greg was a certified electrician who had trained at the Harley-Davidson mechanic school and was a man of many skills. Most of all, he was a professional musician who had played with a variety of bands over the years. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly L. (Davis) Carriger; son, Shane; daughter, Kayla; brother, Sanford “Sandy” Carriger; a number of nieces and nephews; companion, Melody Slentz; and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dan Carriger.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated without a public visitation. A celebration of his life is planned for a future date.
