Walter Allan "Wally" Eberly, Jr.

Walter Allan “Wally” Eberly, Jr., 57, of Uhrichsville, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, March 24, 2016. Born September 2, 1958 in Columbus, Georgia, he was a son of the late Walter Allan Eberly Sr. and Nancy Ann (Kleski) Eberly.

After attending West High School in Columbus, Wally began his long career in the trucking industry, working for a number of area trucking companies over the years.

Wally is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Hylton, Teri Beitzel, and Alice (John) Riley; many nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Marci Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Bobby Hylton and Mark Beitzel.

In keeping with Wally’s wishes, he has been cremated without a public visitation or service. A memorial service and celebration of his life is planned for a later date. He will be interred with his parents in Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd.
