Virginia A. Biclawski, 70, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Oak Pointe Nursing Center in Baltic, O., following a short term illness.
Born January 30, 1939 in Zanesville, O., she was a daughter of the late John Ernest “Jack” and Bernice Marie (Chambers) Pierce.
Virginia was the wife of Michael E. Biclawski who preceded her in death in 1976 after twenty years of marriage. They are survived by six children, Debbie Scurto and her husband, Denny, of New Philadelphia, Melody White and her husband, Kevin, of Uhrichsville, Randy Biclawski and his wife, Mary, of Sandyville, O., Belinda Lute and her companion, Mike Baker, of Dover, Molly Wallace of New Philadelphia, and Tina Biclawski of New Philadelphia; twelve grandchildren, Tommy, Stevie, Dustin, Olivia and her fiancé, Jason, Dale, Connor, Jessie, Savannah, Samantha, Jennifer, Marrisa, and Kaylee; and twelve great grandchildren.
She is also survived by four sisters, Mickey, Sue, Daisy and Roseann; two longtime sons-in-law, Tom Lute and Dale Douglas; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends, including dear friends, Frances Richards and John Mullins, and a special caregiver at Oak Pointe, Mandie Lute.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pat and Barb.
Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family. She especially enjoyed the time that she spent in the kitchen and was well known for her wonderful peanut butter fudge. She also liked to play bingo and loved going shopping for clothes and shoes.
In keeping with Virginia’s wishes no public visitation is planned. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, in Union Cemetery at Uhrichsville, O., officiated by Pastor Brian Flood.
