Virginia Ann Louise “Annie” Lute, 38, of Uhrichsville, passed Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Akron General Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born April 11, 1976 in Dover, she was a daughter of Robert E. Lute, Jr. of New Philadelphia and Melody A. (Scott) Dickey Spurlock of Uhrichsville.
Annie was a 1995 graduate of Lakeland High School before earning her STNA certification at Buckeye Career Center. For the past 3 years, she was the owner and proprietor of Rogie’s Pizza in New Philadelphia, along with her fiancé, Roger Cox of Uhrichsville.
In addition to her parents and fiancé, Annie is survived by her children, Austin Lute and Sasha Hupp; stepsons, Christopher and Joshua Cox; step-granddaughter, Leah Cox; brothers, Robert Lute, III and James Lute; niece, Madison Monte; grandmothers, Louise Dickey and Helen Lute; future mother-in-law, Rose Cox; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, John Dickey, Sr. and Robert Lute, Sr.; great-grandfather, Ralph Lute; and several cousins.
Services for Annie, officiated by Pastor Tommy Miller, will be held at 2pm on Sunday, December 21, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 2pm to 5pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family to help defray the cost of her final expenses, either through the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home or the Virginia “Annie” Memorial Fund at Huntington Bank.
