Timothy A. Gribben

Timothy A. Gribben, 52, of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Born March 15, 1962 in Dennison, he was a son of Michael W. and Janice K. (VanFossen) Gribben of Uhrichsville.

Tim was a 1981 graduate of Claymont High School who had worked for Ron’s Heating and Cooling for nearly 30 years. He was a member of the Uhrichsville Eagles and Moose and enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He also loved working around his home, as well as helping out at his parents’ home. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by siblings, Michael P. Gribben of New Philadelphia and Tammy (Tim) McMillen of Uhrichsville; maternal grandparents, Jack and Fern Robinson of Uhrichsville; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Darrell) Lockwood and Jennifer Gribben of Kentucky, T.J. McMillen of Uhrichsville, Melissa (Anthony) Beckley of Cadiz, Cody (fiancée, Jessie Fannon) McMillen of Uhrichsville and David McMillen of Uhrichsville; and his dear feline companion, Junior. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Leona Gribben, and nieces and nephews, Samantha, Sandra, Michael and Tyler Gribben.

Services, officiated by Father Anthony Lonzo, will be held at 5pm on Wednesday, July 2, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be 3pm to 5pm on Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
