Timothy Paul Butler

Timothy Paul Butler, 62, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio, following a brief illness. Born February 4, 1958 in Dennison, Ohio, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lois Ann (Leggett) Butler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Butler, and brother, Mark Butler.

Tim was a lifelong area resident who had worked for the former Slats and Nails pallet company for 30 years until his retirement last year. He loved serving as a Cub Scout Leader in his younger days.

He will be deeply missed by his surviving family which includes his brothers, Mike, Glenn, and Keith Butler; wife, Nancy (Lotz) Kosegi Butler; stepchildren, Dawn, Beth, and Donald “Buddy”; nieces and nephews, Cassidy, Cole, Kristen, Chad, Angela, Michael, Kayla, Todd, and Joseph; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and his best friends, Phil Murray and Phillip Murray, Jr.

According to Tim's wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family c/o R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Inc., 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH  44621-1269, to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
