Timothy Ray Burkhart

Timothy Ray Burkhart, 65, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. Born July 16, 1958 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Raymond George and Hazel Charlotte (Rothenstine) Burkhart.

Tim is survived by his daughter with whom he had resided, Bridgett (companion, Robert Greenwalt, Jr.) Burkhart; son, Joe Burkhart; grandchildren, Robert Greenwalt, III and Kaydenc Greenwalt; sister, Erma Tufford; half- sister, Regina “Jinx” (Jeff) Smith; half-brother, Rick Kail; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Christina Coventry with whom he was especially close. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond (Ida Mae Weaver) Burkhart, Jr., Earl Clyde (Gladys Zantene) Burkhart, Audrey M. (Kenneth) Kelley and Ronald Lee Kail, Sr.

A lifelong area resident, Tim was employed by Express Packaging for over 20 years, as well as at several other area businesses. He was an avid reader who read anything and everything that he could get his hands on. Most of all, he was a devoted grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren of whom he was very proud.

According to his wishes, Tim will be cremated without a public visitation. His family will celebrate his life privately on a future date.
