Theodore C. Fisher, Sr.

Theodore C. Fisher, Sr., 70, of Magnolia, went home to be with the lord on June 23, 2012. Born May 31, 1942 at Dennison, he was a son of the late Charles H. Fisher and Hazel V. (Carpenter) Cowles. Ted lived in Magnolia for the past 37 years, having formerly lived in Canton.

Ted attended Dennison High School. In 1998, Ted retired from Wonder Bread after 32 years of service. Prior to his retirement, Ted had been the Board President of the Teamsters Local #92 Credit Union. In his spare time, Ted enjoyed fishing, cooking, woodworking, and bird watching from his front porch.

Ted is survived by his wife of over 47 years, Beverly Jean (Painter) Fisher whom he married on July 3, 1964. Ted’s other surviving family includes his children, Karen and husband Frank Fronsman of Port Washington, Cindy Wiseman and companion Brad Pressacco of Port Washington, and Theodore C. and wife Renee Fisher, Jr. of Magnolia; his mother-in-law, Celia Painer of Dayton; his grandchildren, Nikki and husband Jeremy King, Frankie and wife Sarah Fronsman, Eric and wife Stephanie Wiseman, J.C. Wiseman, Matt Neira, and Theodore C. Fisher, III; his great grandchildren, Kora, Cody, Cory, Carter, Michael, Abby, Sammy, Brandon, and Nick; his sisters, Carol and husband Don Whitson, Linda and husband Greg Pearson, and Doris Bowers, all of Dayton; his brothers, Jimmy Fisher, Ricky and wife Debbie Fisher, Danny and wife Roberta Fisher, and David and wife Jacky Fisher, all of Dayton; his brother-in-law, Hoyt and wife Janet Painter of Dayton; good friends Melissa Holman, Candice, and Daphne and Robert Hilburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dear canine companion Pepper.

Ted was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Charles and Sudi Fisher; his mother and step-father, Hazel and Merle Cowles, a great granddaughter, Haley Dawn Wiseman; his father-in-law, Hoyt Painter; and his sister-in-law, Trudy Fisher.

Services for Ted, officiated by Pastor Brian Flood, will be held Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Internment will follow at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday June 26, 2012 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
