Tesha Varie Armstrong-Speedy

Tesha Varie Armstrong-Speedy, 31, of Uhrichsville, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 1, 2017 at Union Hospital in Dover. Born October 29, 1985 in Dover, she was a daughter of Frederick David (Laura) Armstrong of New Philadelphia and Ronna Lynne (Daniel) Myers-Piccin of Uhrichsville.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Joshua Armstrong, Gabriella Speedy, Zoey Speedy, and Heidi Armstrong; husband, Joseph Speedy; siblings, Brandi Armstrong-Smith, Nikki (Matt) Walton, and Jordon Armstrong; grandparents, Paula Armstrong, Bill and Linda Brehm, and Ronnie and Rose Myers; step-siblings, Joseph (Pamela) Radisek, Alex Radisek, Deanna Radisek, Danielle (companion, Dave) Piccin, D.B. Piccin, and Jessie Piccin; Kristal Arnold who was a special person in Tesha’s life; and a large extended family, including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald J. Armstrong, Sr.; uncles, Donald Armstrong, Jr. and Shawn Myers; and cousin, Keith Allen Armstrong.

Tesha loved spending time with her children, especially in outdoor activities like rock hunting. She was a cook for the Pro’s Table and Zifaro’s for a number of years and attended New Life Center with her grandmother, Paula.

Services, officiated by Pastor Fred Battles, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the funeral. She will be interred in East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home to help defray the cost of her final expenses.
