Teresa L. "Terri" Smith Caswell

Teresa Lynn “Terri” Smith Caswell, 52, of Dennison, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Trinity Hospital Twin City in Dennison. Born December 30, 1963 in Orange, California, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lynne Rose Smith, and the biological daughter of Earlene Connors who survives her. Until she was 34, Terri lived in California where she was an avid swimmer who loved spending time at the beach, collecting seashells by the ocean.

In addition to her mother, Terri is also survived by her children, Austin Smith, Meagan Smith Caswell, Amy Caswell and Garrett Caswell; grandchildren, Parker Barrett and Romeo Caswell; fiancé, Mark Gwinn; siblings, Candy Connors, Tina Smith, Stephanie Smith, Van Hoppler and Craig Connors; niece and nephews, Jacey, Michael and Dennis; and many dear friends. Terri was a devoted pet owner who dearly loved the many cats that she cared for over the years, including Rancho who survives her.

In her passing, Terri is giving the gift of life to others by being an organ and tissue donor. According to her wishes, she will be cremated without a public visitation, and her family plans to hold a celebration of her life at a later time.
