Tamy S. Moughler-Stillwell, 55, of Uhrichsville, joined her beloved late husband, Marty, in heaven on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Born June 5, 1958 in Akron, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Newton and Gladys Dee (Whitis) Moughler.

A resident of the Twin City area for 32 years, Tamy had previously resided in Tallmadge where she attended Tallmadge High School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who devoted her life to her family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she enjoyed taking them to worship with her at the Cathedral of Praise in Uhrichsville.

In 1979, Tamy married Marty R. Stillwell and enjoyed 20 years of marriage with him until his passing in 1999. They are survived by 3 children, Kelly Stillwell of Akron, Marty Stillwell of Uhrichsville and Nikki Stillwell-Bergquist of Mineral City; grandchildren, Mionna, Kelliah, Kiauna, Heidi and Caydin; and great-grandchildren, Larrence, Alyciana and Adonis. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Houpt of Akron and Becky (Bob) Prior of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a dear friend, Clarence Slocum who was like a stepfather to her; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful canine companion, Jack.

In keeping with Tamy’s wishes, she has been cremated. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Springfield Twp. Pavilion, 2491 Canfield Rd., Akron, OH 44312, during which time a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Sue Carr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tamy’s family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Inc., 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621-1269, to help defray the cost of her final expenses.
