Susan A. Jackson

Susan A. Jackson, 54, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at The Ohio State University Medical Center East in Columbus, Ohio after a short illness. Born January 16, 1958 in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Ancil J. Orr and Bessie E. (Stull) Orr Rainsberg.

A lifelong resident of the Twin City area, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved caring for her family and will be remembered for her delicious cooking and baking. She enjoyed collecting angels which she proudly displayed throughout her home.

On July 31, 1974, Susan married Donald E. Jackson with whom she enjoyed thirty-eight years of marriage and had two children, Melissa (fiancé, Brian Croniser) Jackson of Dennison and Donald E. Jackson, II of Uhrichsville. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Courtney Tantarelli of Dennison; sister, Sharon “Sherry” (Chris) Fausto of Uhrichsville; brother, Cliff (companion, Rhonda) Orr of Uhrichsville; aunt, Joann West of Florida; special friends, John Tantarelli, Jr. of Uhrichsville and Chelcie Warner of Dennison; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sheila Johnson, Sally Hendricks and Dee Tomack, and her parents-in-law, Fred and Jeannette Jackson.

Services for Susan, officiated by Rev. Harry Milligan, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
