Steven B. Lemonte

Steven Bryce LeMonte, 29, of Canton, died May 24, 2021. Born October 31, 1991 in Dover, he was a son of Jennifer (LeMonte) and Conrad Sommers of Dover.

After attending Central Catholic High School, Steve was a 2010 graduate of Dover High School. He will be remembered as being truly kind, gentle, and loving. His happy-go-lucky attitude showed through his nearly constant smiles and his ability to keep others laughing. Steve loved nature and spent as much time outdoors, as possible. He and his husband walked every trail in Stark Parks, and Steve was committed to a holistic lifestyle focused on healthy eating and fitness.

He will be deeply missed by his husband, Michael J. Petrack, whom he married on March 18, 2018; parents, Jennifer and Conrad Sommers; siblings, Gage (Karissa) Sommers, Rachel (Nathan) Sommers-Petrie, and Bailey (fiancé, Austin Hawkins) Sommers; nieces, Lillee and Lana; aunt, Marianne Collins; uncles, Robert (Mary) LeMonte and Dennis (Shelly) LeMonte; cousins, Elise Sickels and Jennifer Brown; and a large extended family.

A private, family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Stark Parks, 5300 Tyner St. NW, Canton, OH 44708 and the American Cancer Society.
