Stephen Joel Troyer, 21, of Uhrichsville passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2025 in St. Clairsville, Ohio. He was born in Dover on August 3, 2003 and was a son of Aden A and Ruby R (Miller) Troyer of the home.

He graduated from Buckeye Career Center in 2021 and had been working in the gas and oil field. Stephen enjoyed being outdoors which included time spent hunting, and tinkering with anything mechanic. He was a member of Harbor of Hope Assembly of God.

In addition to his parents, Aden and Ruby, he will be deeply missed by his siblings, Zachary Troyer, Kenzie (Joshua) Aparijo, Marissa (Austin Berg) Floyd, Ben (Kimmy) Troyer, Sam (Oliva Prolago) Troyer, Anthony Troyer, and Gabe (Jasmine) Troyer; 15 nieces and nephews; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Norman Shetler will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 21 at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
