Sonja J. Leas

Sonja Jean Leas, 71, of Uhrichsville, passed away at Aultman Hospital in Canton on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Born October 18, 1946 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Alice Pauline (Zurcher) Colvin.

She is survived by her son, Carl (Candy) Jenkins; daughter, Tammy Walker; loving companion of 26 years, Rick Maxwell; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lonnie (Sharon) Colvin and Keith (Cindy) Colvin; sister-in-law, Geraldine Colvin; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Ingrid, Janet and Rhonda. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Randy and Terry Colvin.

Services, officiated by Pastor Florence McNutt, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
