Sharon Lynn (Fox) Reichman

Sharon Lynn (Fox) Reichman, 60, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Union Hospital in Dover. Born October 21, 1952 in Dover, she was a daughter of Glenn Fox of New Philadelphia and the late Delores Shaw.

A 1971 graduate of New Philadelphia High School, Sharon was employed by a number of area businesses including Family Dollar in Uhrichsville and the Parkway Honda in the detail shop. She had a huge heart for animals and had many dear pets over the years, including her beloved canine companion, Daisy.

Sharon’s surviving family includes her father, Glenn Fox of New Philadelphia; daughter, Angela (Steven) Sproul with whom she had resided in Uhrichsville; granddaughters, Tanna (fiancé, Matt Stevenson) Sproul of Uhrichsville and Tonya (Josh) Bayer of Dover; half brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Shaw of New Philadelphia; a special friend of over fifty years, Kathy McGee of New Philadelphia; a dear friend, Robin Toole of New Philadelphia; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Jim (Mandy) Fox of Pt. Washington to whom she was especially close. In addition to her mother, Delores Shaw, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Jim, and a sister, Judith.

In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public visitation or service. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 6895 Dover-Zoar Rd., Dover, OH 44622, in lieu of flowers.
