Sevilla J. Cottrell-Pankuch

Sevilla Jane Cottrell-Pankuch, 63, of Dennison, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville. Born January 27, 1958 in Dennison, she was the last surviving child of the late George Sr. and Marjorie (Garabrandt) Cottrell, having been preceded in death by her siblings, George Jr., Thomas, and Annette Cottrell.

Sevilla worked for The McDonald’s Corporation for over twenty years and stood behind the chair cutting hair for more than thirty-six years. She also volunteered for the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better Program.

Sevilla was blessed with the birth of her baby girl in 1984, and she leaves behind her daughter, Sara (fiancé, Kye Ross) Pankuch; sister-in-law, Lora (Ted) Morrow; nephews and nieces, George (Mandy) Cottrell, III and their children Ambrosia and Dominic, Jennifer (Donnie) Cottrell-Pallaye and their children, Hunter and Ian, and Luke (Amber) Cottrell and their children, Carter and Kobin; half-siblings, Kelly (Marty) Gargas, Kris (Eric) Olejnik, and John Depinto; her close friend, Nancy Baker, whom she called Mom; and her fur granddog, Brooklyn.

A private, family service is planned for Sevilla. She will be interred with her beloved family in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
