Sandra Sinnett

Sandra Jean Sinnett, 71, of Gnadenhutten, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio after a period of declining health. Born September 17, 1939 in Buchtel, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Katherine (Popovich) Dearing. A resident of the Gnadenhutten area for the past nine years, she had previously lived in Akron for most of her life.

Sandra devoted her life to caring for her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker. She is survived by a son, David Hanes with whom she had resided; a daughter, Penny Rose and her husband, Daniel, of Gnadenhutten; and three grandchildren, Dylan Hanes, Brianna Rose, and Daniel Hanes. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa McDermott, in addition to her parents and husband.

In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, she has been cremated without a public service or visitation. A private family service will be held.
