Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who had devoted her life to her family. She was a dedicated homemaker whose nurturing nature and sweet disposition blessed everyone around her, including her family, friends, and even many wild animals whom she nursed back to health over the years. She was a fantastic cook and will be remembered for her delicious homemade dishes. She enjoyed caring for her plants and flowers, feeding the hummingbirds who came to her gardens, playing cards – especially solitaire, solving word puzzles, collecting frogs, and spending time with her friends at the Uhrichsville Moose where she had been a longtime member.
Pastor Brett Warkentine will officiate a 1:00 p.m. service on Saturday, April 19, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Rush Church Cemetery near Uhrichsville, Ohio.
