Sandra D. Leeper

Sandra Dee Leeper, 73, of Dennison, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia. Born November 12, 1947 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Albert Edwin “Ed” Snedeker and June Louise (Herman) LaCroix.

Sandra was a graduate of Dover High School and a lifelong area resident. In her youth, she worked at the Root Beer Stand and for Buehler’s. For over thirty years, she was employed by Cable Manufacturing in Bolivar, in addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing video games.

On September 20, 1969, Sandra married Harry Patterson Leeper, Jr. with whom she recently celebrated 51 years of loving marriage. They had four children, June (John) Moody, Misty (James) McNiff, and Allen (Jaime) Leeper who survive her, and Shelly Kaye Leeper Herman who preceded her in death. Sandra is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Amber Colvin, Autumn Leeper, Ashton Moody, Taylor McNiff, Jordan McNiff, Hunter McNiff, Emma Leeper, Jenna Leeper, and Mason Leeper; a great-grandson, Alex McNiff; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Becky Snedeker Leeper, Randy Snedeker (her twin), Cathy Snedeker Tice, and William Snedeker, as well as her parents and daughter.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH  44663, in lieu of flowers.
