God and Family were the most important things in life to Rudy, whether it was helping his father tend to the garden, cooking wonderful meals, vacationing, or just spending time together. Rudy especially enjoyed the time he spent with his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Rudy was an avid sports fan who closely followed Notre Dame, as well as the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Cavaliers. Those who knew Rudy knew that he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

In addition to his mother, Josephine, Rudy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlo and Maria Menapace and James and Josephine Torch, as well as many aunts, uncles, and friends.
