Roselia Ann Lee

Roselia Ann Lee, 96, of Bowerston, passed away peacefully at her home, while surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Born October 22, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Charles Phillip and Teresa (Spain) Vitagliano.

On March 15, 1948, she married Allen Russell Lee, Sr. with whom she enjoyed over 44 years of marriage until his passing on October 21, 1992. They are survived by a son, Allen Russell “Rusty” Lee, Jr.; daughter, Blanche (John) Nign; 8 grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren. Roselia is also survived by her sisters, Patsy Verlest and Nancy Stackhouse, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Marian Nation and Mary Catherine Lee; a son, Charlie Lee; daughter-in-law, Robin Lee; and five siblings, Evelyn, Kay, Nick, Frank, and Sonny.

Roselia was employed by the former Scio Pottery for nearly 30 years prior to its closing, and she had also worked at Walmart for 17 years until retiring. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting, in her spare time, and she will be remembered for her delicious cooking and baking, as well as her beautiful flower beds. She was Catholic by faith.

Pastor Michael Cunningham will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Friday, December 31, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Leesville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
