Ronnie Clell Willis

Ronnie Clell Willis, 63, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, following a battle with Covid-19. Born November 21, 1958, in Clintwood, Virginia, he was a son of the late Clovis Willis and Geraldine (Hylton) Willis Nugent.

On June 11, 1982, Ronnie married Tillie Marie (Wardell) Willis who survives him at their home. He is also survived by their daughter, Kristan Willis, and granddaughter, Willow Presutti. Ronnie is survived by his siblings, Anna (Ralph) Smith, Eddie (Lisa) Willis, and Larry Willis, and several nieces and nephews, as well. In addition to his father, Ronnie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Geraldine Nugent, and his stepfather, Jesse Nugent, who raised him like his own.

Ronnie was a Tuscarawas County resident since the early 70s and had been employed by several area companies, including Asplundh and, most recently, OIS Tire. He loved automobiles and spent many happy hours working on his ’55 Chevy that he was restoring. He had a talent for body work and could build just about anything.

In keeping with his wishes, no public visitation or service is planned, and his family will celebrate his life privately. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution may do so to the charity of their choice.
