Rodney Wayne Copeland

Rodney Wayne Copeland, 57, of Uhrichsville, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Born February 25, 1964 in Columbus, he was the son of the late Rose Marie (Tantarelli) Copeland and Carl Wayne Copeland.

Rodney is survived by his sisters, Valerie L. (Copeland) Willoughby, Tina M. (Copeland) Pica, and Kelly J. (Copeland) McMillen; nieces, Courtney Gallardo, Danielle Piccin, Nayla Pica, and Macie McMillen; great-nephews and great-nieces, Chealsey, Taylur, Giovani, Vada, Eugene, Amya, Carmina, Nico, and Enzo; great-great-nephew, Mason; aunt, Phyllis Poletti; uncle, Vincent Tantarelli; numerous cousins; and his many, many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Mary Ann Milligan; uncles, Louis Tantarelli, John Tantarelli, and Tony Tantarelli; and niece, Nicole Pica, and her daughter (Rodney’s great-niece), Ty-yanna. Rodney, who was loved by everyone, had the kindest heart and will be deeply missed. He was an avid fan of the Power Rangers and loved drawing pictures for all of his family and friends.

A private, family service is planned at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow at Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Down Syndrome Society.
