Robert Mcclellen Streeter, Jr.

Robert McClellen “Bobby” Streeter, Jr., 63, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Thursday, June 13 Born January 23, 1956 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Catherine M. (Morrison) Striker-Streeter. He was also preceded in death by Ralph Mathias, who had raised him like his own son; sisters, Patsy Whitacre and Maud Mathias; brother, Leroy Striker; and son, Robert M. Streeter, III.

A 1975 graduate of Indian Valley South High School, Bobby proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1976 until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #7943 in Tuscarawas and Uhrichsville F.O.E. Aerie #2264 where he had been a member for over 25 years.

Bobby will be deeply missed by his daughters, Kathy (Jerry) Allshouse and Mary (John Jr.) Cottrill; son, Jonathon (Heather) Streeter; grandchildren, Nash, Shane, Tonia, Easton, Preston, Austin and Bailey; great-grandchild, Brynlee; sister and brother-in-law, Till and Greek Meek; many nieces and nephews; dear friend and former spouse, Edna Streeter; and very special friend, Cheryl McBride.

Services, officiated by Pastor Randy Stull, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, at the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will be in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery with a military committal service on a later date. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, with a 3:45 p.m. Eagles Memorial Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Uhrichsville Eagles Scholarship Fund.
