Robert "Rob" A. Veigel

Robert A. “Rob” Veigel, 43, of Uhrichsville, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Born May 17, 1969 in Dennison, he was a son of Robert L. “Bob” and Mildred M. “Millie” (Clum) Veigel of Uhrichsville.

Rob was a resident of Uhrichsville throughout his life and was a graduate of Claymont High School in the class of 1987 who worked in the local construction industry. In his spare time, he loved fishing, hunting and drawing and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandson.

In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by three children, Johnny (fiancée, Sam) Herron, Vanessa Veigel and Nathan Veigel of Uhrichsville; a grandson, Rayne Herron of Uhrichsville; his loving companion of twenty years, Julia Porco of the home; two brothers, Joe (Judy) Veigel and Dan Veigel of Uhrichsville; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

According to Rob’s wishes, he has been cremated without a public visitation or service. Memorial contributions may be made to his family in care of the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Inc., 26 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621-1269 to help defray the cost of his final expenses.
