Robert Allen Paden

Robert Allen Paden, 78, of Dover, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 22, 2019, after a period of declining health. Born May 28, 1941 in Cleveland, he was a son of the late John Leon Paden and Helene (Petrie) Paden-Ayres.

Bob was a retired truck driver who had been a member of the Teamsters. He was also a member of the F. & A. M., having been a 23 ^rd degree Mason. His surviving family includes his son and daughter-in-law, Sammie L. and Susan Paden and their daughters, Abigail, Hannah, Elisabeth and Rachel; son, Daniel M. Paden; daughter, Kathleen A. Paden-Bilardo and her children, Nicholas, Anna, Stefanie and Anthony; brother, Ronald Paden; several nieces and nephews; and his longtime, loving companion, Norma Pittis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Homer Paden, and sister, Beverly Williams.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation. Charitable contributions to honor his memory may be made to Interim Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
