Robert C. Davis

Robert Clifford Davis, 83, of Dennison, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his children, on April 20, 2024. Born May 31, 1940 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Robert Lee and Margaret Frances (Morrow) Davis.

Bob was a 1958 graduate of Dennison High School who served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He retired from General Telephone after over 30 years of service. Bob was an avid golfer – having a lifetime record of 13 holes in one – and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Alisa Davis and Bryan Davis; grandchildren, Mya Hanks and Aisley Davis; longtime companion, Lois Antonelli; and his best friend and golfing buddy, Chuck Barrett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” Davis, and sister, Carolyn Rizor.

Father Jeff Coning will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Wednesday, April 24, at R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison where visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
