Robert M. Bache

Robert Martin Bache, 74, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at New Dawn Retirement Center in Dover, after a period of declining health. Born November 9, 1948 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Harold Arthur and Betty Lou (Huston) Bache.

Bob was a 1967 graduate of Claymont High School before earning his Associates Degree from Kent State University. He was an avid NASCAR fan who loved cars and had spent 40 years working for local car dealerships.

He is survived by his sister, Debbie (Pete) Cottrell; brothers, Harold “Dunnie” (April) Bache, Jr. and Mike (companion, Carrie) Bache; many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Hallie; and his aunts and uncle, Shirley Ross, Judy Williams, and Richard Huston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Bache, and sister-in-law, Beth Bache.

According to Bob’s wishes, cremation is planned with interment to follow beside his beloved parents in Tunnel Hill Cemetery near Bowerston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
