Ridge J. Reichman

Ridge John Reichman, 18, of Tuscarawas, Ohio, tragically and unexpectedly lost his life in a car accident on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Born July 14, 2007 in Dover, Ohio, he is a son of John Lewis Reichman II and Callie Sue Haney.

A 2026 graduate of Indian Valley High School and Buckeye Career Center, Ridge had recently started working at ProVia. He loved fishing and spending time with his family and many friends. He will be remembered for his quick wit and how he could always get everyone laughing with his great sense of humor.

He is deeply mourned by his surviving family which includes his father, John Reichman; his mother, Callie Haney and her companion, Matthew Guinn; maternal grandparents, Sue Haney and her companion, Shea Burdette, and Dennis (Ginger) Haney; paternal grandparents, John and Jennie Reichman; siblings, Taylor (companion, Seth Byers) Bridgeman, Trinity (fiancé, Caden Fritz) Armstrong, and Chase Reichman; nephews, Xjavier and Geoffery Byers; aunts and uncles, Katrina and Ryan Hart, Amber (companion, Luke Cottrell) Haney, Brock Metzger, and Jimmy (Becky) Reichman; and many cousins.

His Grandma Jennie will officiate a 1:00 p.m. funeral on Thursday, July 2, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, Ohio. Interment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to the service. In order to allow Ridge’s family to have a time to mourn him privately, until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday the funeral home will remain closed to the public. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to their favorite charity, in lieu of flowers.
