Rick A. Norman, 68, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Born May 28, 1944 in Dennison, he was a son of the late Carl C. Norman and D. June (Dickey) Norman McCauley.

A resident of Uhrichsville throughout his life, Rick was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison and a graduate of Uhrichsville High School in 1962. He furthered his education at Mt. He will also be remembered for his antiques and collectibles business which he enjoyed for decades, combing through flea markets near and far for unique treasures. Rick loved spending time with his many friends at local lodges where he held membership, including the American Italian Club, Eagles, Elks, Moose, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Free and Accepted Masons, and Knights of Columbus. He also enjoyed fishing, playing billiards, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved to entertain his family and friends with his myriad of card tricks.

On August 19, 1967, Rick married the former Carolyn S. Wells who survives him at their home. He is also survived by two sons, Patrick M. (Joell) Norman and Jeffrey A. Norman of Uhrichsville; two daughters, Heather L. (Gary) Watkins of Uhrichsville and Stacie A. (Aaron) Bowman of Dennison; grandchildren, Brittany Mills, Brennon Mills, Reagan Norman, Dustin Norman, Erin Norman, Tori Norman, Braden Watkins, Cade Watkins, Keira Watkins, Rees Bowman, Bree Bowman and Brodie Beamer; an expected great-grandchild; brother, Gary (Marianne) Norman of Florida; sisters, Carolyn (Dennis) Jones of Leesville and Jill (Larry) Harer of Newark; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack E. Norman.
