Rick W. Loudermilk

Rick W. Loudermilk, 65, of Bowerston, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Born March 22, 1960 in Canton, he was a son of the late William Lawrence and Almeda Gloria (Johnson) Loudermilk.

A lifelong area resident, Rick was employed at Novelis in Uhrichsville for over 30 years and had been a member of United Mineworkers of America. When he wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his family and faithful canine companion, Sadie. He also enjoyed spending quiet moments watching the birds that came to his yard.

Rick will be deeply missed by his children, Nicole Loudermilk and Clay (fiancée, Hope Muth) Loudermilk; grandson, Levi Loudermilk; stepson, Ronnie (companion, Barb Reed) Lute; sister, Cathy Loudermilk; many nieces and nephews; and his longtime special friend, Rhonda Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lee Loudermilk, who died on November 25, 2003; brothers, Steve and Terry; and sisters, Belinda and Peggy.

Rick’s family will receive callers for a time of sharing their memories and goodbyes on Tuesday, May 13, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison, Ohio. Those wishing to honor his memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to their favorite charity.
