Raymond E. Wade

Raymond Ernest Wade, 52, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017, at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation in Uhrichsville. Born October 15, 1964 in Bergholz, Ohio, he was a son of the late Warren Bliss and Margaret Jane (Szarenski) Wade. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Winnie Maxwell, Steven Wade and Wenda Wade.

His surviving family includes his special friend and longtime companion, Linda Dougan of the home; siblings, Martha “Marty” Cochran, Janett Wade, Margaret “Sissy” Cox, Paul Wade, John Wade, and Warren “Bob” Wade; a daughter, Kirsten; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Raymond was a mechanic and technician with Goodyear Tire for a number of years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, and riding motorcycles. He attended Word of Life Church and Prayer Center in New Philadelphia.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated without a public visitation or service before interment with his parents in Bowerston’s Longview Cemetery.
