Raymond Dale Lippencott

Raymond Dale Lippencott, 67, of Freeport, passed away at his home, while surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born May 25, 1950 in Uhrichsville, he was a son of the late Roy and Emma (Sprouls) Lippencott. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph and Rick Lippencott.

After attending Uhrichsville schools, Ray began his career as an auger operator in the local mining industry. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed trapping and hunting in his spare time.

Ray is survived by his wife of nearly twenty years, Johnetta V. (Bee) Lippencott, whom he married on July 23, 1998; sons, Raymond (companion, Brenda) Lippencott, Jr. of Port Washington and Roy (Stacey) Lippencott of Tuscarawas; daughter, Amy (Jake) Burcher of Tuscarawas; stepchildren, Joseph (companion, Pam) Milburn, Jr. of Uhrichsville, Brandon (Kelly) Milburn of Newport and Brian (Jennifer) Milburn of Strasburg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Larry) Webb of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother, Ed (Tina) Lippencott of Uhrichsville; and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ray’s wishes, cremation is planned without a public visitation.
