Ralph White

Ralph Lester White, 86, of Uhrichsville, passed away at his home on Monday, November 29, 2021. Born August 29, 1935 in Tippecanoe, he was a son of the late Forrest McKinley White and Zelma Burdella (Copeland) White.

Ralph was a 1953 graduate of Uhrichsville High School before proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. In 2002, he retired from Tuscarawas County’s Road and Bridge Department after 18 years, having previously been employed by Cantex for 20 years. In his spare time, he loved keeping everything neat as a pin around his home, from mowing the lawn to detailing his cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

On December 1, 1960, Ralph married June Ann (Milburn) White who survives him along with their children, Richard (Roxanne) White and Tammy White; grandchildren, Katie (companion, Kevin Ammari) White, Elizabeth (Mark) Sheehe, and Rick (Christy) White; and great-grandchildren, Lucas Sheehe, Rylee Sheehe, Sophie White, and Sam (Brittnie) Novonglosky. He is also survived by his twin sister, Ruth Lane; brother- and sisters-in-law, Roy and Pam Milburn, Myra (companion, Steve Phillips) Allan, and Shirley Milburn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Vivian Lanning and Roy White.

In keeping with Ralph’s wishes, a private, family funeral is planned. He will be interred in St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery in Tuscarawas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
