Rae Ann Mcmath

Rae Ann McMath, 65, of Uhrichsville, passed away at her home on Monday, July 17, 2023. Born February 21, 1958 in Dennison, she was the daughter of the late David Ray and Sally Rae (Ford) McMath.

Rae Ann was a 1976 graduate of Claymont High School and a lifelong area resident. She had a long career in elder care until her retirement from Claymont Health and Rehabilitation, having previously worked at Schoenbrunn Healthcare for many years.

She is survived by her brothers, Darrell (Mandy) McMath and Dean (Despo) McMath; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Lyndsey, Andrew, and Derek; great-nephew and great-niece, Knox and Nora; and a large extended family, including many dear cousins. She will also be deeply missed by her faithful feline companion, Sammy, to whom she was absolutely devoted.

Rev. Larry Malterer will officiate an 11:00 a.m. graveside service on Thursday, July 20, at Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery where she will be interred beside her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, OH  44663.
