Paul F. Enos

Paul F. Enos, 93, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his home. Born October 14, 1921 near Uhrichsville, he was a son of the late Francis Crumley and Mildred Eleanor (Mahaffey) Enos.

A Twin City resident throughout his life, Paul was a 1940 graduate of Dennison High School. For many years, he was employed by Harshberger Pontiac where he did mechanic repairs, body work and painting. He was a loyal member of the Uhrichsville Moose where he was awarded the Pilgrim Degree of Merit, and was also a member of the Uhrichsville Eagles and the National Federation of the Blind.

Paul is survived by 9 children, Frances “Fran” Burcher, Robert (Mary) Enos, Carl (Gilda) Enos, Janie (Butch) Western, Kenny (Toni) Enos, Olive (companion, Ralph Harshey) Enos, Jerry Enos, Bruce Enos, and Constance (Gene) Hammond; sister, Edna Fillinger; 24 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former spouse, Nora Marie (Murray) Enos McMasters; longtime companion, Louise Sanner; sons-in-law, John Burcher and Kevin Keaton; brother, Merle Eugene “Bill” Enos; sisters, Grace Miller, Eleanor Stocker, Mary Fetters and Rose Enos; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will begin at 11am on Wednesday, July 29, in the R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison with Pastor Joe Pena, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday in the funeral home. A Moose Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 5:45pm. Interment will be in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Federation of the Blind.
