Patsy Jane Leishman

December 1, 1929 — March 28, 2017

Patsy Jane Leishman, 87, of Dennison passed away on March 28, 2017 at Union Hospital. Born December 1, 1929 in Pekin, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Safrona (Harsh) Hartman.

Patsy graduated from Salineville High School and was a member of LifeWay Church in New Philadelphia. She was a devoted homemaker and was dedicated to her faith and family.

On November 18, 1947 she married Lewis Karl Leishman who preceded her in death on December 6, 2005. They are survived by their sons, Danny (Barbara), David (Karen), and Randall (Karen) Leishman; daughter, Lori (Roland) Cooper; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her siblings, William and Richard Hartman and Dorothy Ward.

Services for Patsy, officiated by Pastor Larry Fletcher, will be held at 1pm on Monday at the LifeWay Church in New Philadelphia. Visitation will be held two hours prior from 11am to 1pm. Interment will follow beside her beloved husband in Dover’s Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Those wishing to honor her memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to LifeWay Church.
