Patricia Ann Simmons

Patricia Ann Simmons, 72, of Dennison, passed away on May 19, 2023 at Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia. Born September 14, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Homer Webster and Wilma Pauline (Bartholow) McBeth. Also preceding her in death is her husband, James Steven Simmons, whom she married on September 17, 1968 and passed away on March 17, 1999, and her siblings and their spouses, Delores Greenwood, Nancy Brown Rennicker, Robert McBeth, Harold McBeth, and Donald McBeth.

Patty was a member of the Uhrichsville Eagles and the Moose Auxiliary. She enjoyed being around children, including babysitting them and also liked to go camping. She was a nurses’ assistant at many area nursing homes.

Surviving is a brother-in-law, Terry (Donna) Simmons; sister-in-law, Nancy McBeth; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friends, Judy Sterosnider, Doris LeMonte, and Mike Davis; and canine companion, Buster.

In keeping with Patty’s wishes, she has been cremated. She will be interred in Dover Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
