Patricia L. Jones

Patricia Lawanda Jones, 73, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. In death, she gave the gift of life to others by being an organ and tissue donor through Lifebanc. Born January 25, 1952 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late George Frederick Jones and Jewell Judy (Smitley) Jones.

Pat dedicated her life to her family as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker who had called the Twin City area her home for her entire life. She loved spending time with her many friends at the Uhrichsville Eagles where she was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She was also an avid Bingo player who loved going to the Knights of Columbus Bingo every Monday night, enjoyed playing cards, and was a devoted cat owner.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Rob (Lisa) Swaney; daughter, Terri Swaney; grandchildren, Dr. Chase Morgan Swaney, Duane Crites, Veronica Crites, and Clayton Swaney; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Greg (Sharon) Jones, Andrea Nalley, George (Jeanette) Jones Jr., and Jim (Dawna) Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Pat’s wishes, cremation is planned. Her family will celebrate her life on a future date, and this website will be updated as details are confirmed. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring her memory may be made to the Dennison Knights of Columbus, 122 Grant St., Dennison, OH 44621.
