Nathan Cummings

December 8, 1983 — May 15, 2011

Nathan “Nate” C. Cummings, 27, of Wooster, formerly of Dennison, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born December 8, 1983 at Massillon, he was a son of Jami Sue (Cummings) Beans, beloved grandson of Charles F. and Janice (Wallace) Cummings of Dennison, and a son of Marvin E. Fiester.

Nate was a 2002 graduate of Indian Valley High School and attended Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship Church. Nate had been a highly respected department supervisor for J.L.G. at Wooster. In his work for J.L.G., Nate represented the company in many parts of the world, having recently returned home from Singapore and Brazil. Nate had a powerful work ethic, having previously worked in the construction field and at the Dennison Yard. Nate loved sports, whether it was golfing, playing flag football, or doing what he most cherished, watching his brother and sister in their athletic endeavors. His family, his large circle of friends, and his community will sorely miss Nate. The accomplishments that Nate achieved in 27 short years are a testament to his character and drive.

In addition to his mother and father, Nate’s surviving family include his sister, Jennifer Lynn Beans of New Philadelphia; his brother, Caleb Joshua Beans of New Philadelphia; half brother, Shane Fiester; half sister, Keely Hutton; uncles, Charles (Deborah) Cummings, Randall (Shawn) Cummings, Kurt (Jody) Cummings, and Casey (Lexi) Cummings; cousins, David, Bryan, Derek, Danielle, Kassidy, Jordan, Janelle, Christopher, Quintin, Cade, and Camry; and many other family members.

Nate was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Phyllis E. Wallace and his grandmother, Betty Fiester.

Services for Nate, officiated by Pastor Tom Klaserner, will be held at 12 noon on Thursday May 19, 2011 in the Uhrichsville Christian Fellowship Church. Internment will follow in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at visitation for Nate on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 5 pm until 8 pm in the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison. Those wishing to honor Nate’s memory with a memorial contribution are encouraged to do so to Tuscarawas County Right to Life, P.O.
