Nancy Ann Eberly, 81, of Dennison, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia. Born July 25, 1934 in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late John Frederick and Marie Elizabeth (Engstrom) Kleski.
A resident of Tuscarawas County for much of her life, with the exception of the years that she traveled with her husband while he served in the U.S. Army throughout the United States and in Iran, Nancy was a designer at Baker Florist for over 20 years. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers, as well as crocheting, in her spare time. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison.
On January 20, 1951, she married Walter Allan Eberly with whom she enjoyed over 32 years of marriage until his passing on June 24, 1983. They are survived by children, Teri (Mark) Beitzel, Alice (John) Riley, Walter Eberly Jr., and Cheryl (Bobby) Hylton; grandchildren, Shane, Tammy, Brian, Miranda, Paul, Marie, Bobby, Jason, Sonny, Nancy, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Shayla, Brendan, Keith, Bruce, McKenzie, Seth, Kayla, Katie, Brady, Christopher, Sheldon, Kendrick, Tamra, Alyssa, Elijah, Desmon, Candace, Sonny Jr., Azalynn, Kayli, Dominic, Kali, and Gage; and great-great-grandchildren, Kinzlee and Sebastian. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Homer “Sonny” and Ivan Kleski, and her dear companion of many years, Jack Gold.
Father Tyron Tomson will celebrate the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, in Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Memorial Book Fund and Community Hospice.
